Connect the docking station to your computer.Targus has validated the Synaptics DisplayLink version 11.0M0 software and drivers for all DisplayLink-based Targus Universal and Hybrid Docking Station models DOCK1XX, DOCK3XX, DOCK5XX, and DOCK7XX for Windows 10 and Windows 11. Connect all the devices such as monitor, keyboard, and mouse to the docking station. exe driver installation files that you downloaded and follow the on-screen instructions to complete the installation process. Using File Explorer (also known as Windows Explorer), browse to the location where the downloaded file was saved. Save the DisplayLink driver installation file to your computer. Click Download next to DisplayLink Dock Driver. Follow the on-screen instructions to download and install drivers update for your Dell laptop. Click Check for Updates to allow Dell to automatically find driver updates for you. Or, click Browse all products to manually select your Dell laptop from the catalog. Or, enter the Service Tag, Express Service Code, or the Serial number of the Dell laptop and click Search. Click Download & Install SupportAssist to auto-detect your Dell laptop.įollow the on-screen instructions to install Dell SupportAssist. Browse to the Dell Drivers & Downloads website. 
NOTE: For optimal performance, Dell recommends updating the BIOS and Chipset driver of your Dell laptop before installing the DisplayLink driver for the Dell USB Dock D3100.
